About Us

We are an owner operated air duct and dryer vent cleaning company in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Air duct and dryer vent cleaning are essential maintenance tasks that improve indoor air quality, enhance HVAC system efficiency, and reduce fire hazards. While traditional cleaning methods often use air whips and high-pressure air blowing from the main supply trunk, the direct vent entry method—using Air-Care equipment—focuses on accessing and cleaning each individual vent more thoroughly.

This process involves inserting specialized tools from Air-Care directly into each supply and return vent, allowing for more targeted cleaning and better results.

Initial Inspection

  • Visual inspection of the HVAC system, registers, returns, and accessible ductwork.
  • Identification of dirt buildup, microbial growth, or obstructions.
  • System is evaluated for access points and optimal cleaning sequence.

Vent Cover Removal

  • Each register and return vent cover is carefully removed.
  • Covers are cleaned separately using a safe disinfectant.

Vacuum Setup

  • A high-powered vacuum system (HEPA-filtered) is connected near the air handler or to the main trunk line.
  • This creates negative pressure to pull loosened debris from the ducts.

Direct Vent Cleaning with Air-Care Tools

  • Instead of using air whips that push debris from inside the main trunk, technicians insert Air-Care’s rotating brush or duct cleaning tools into each individual vent.
  • These tools are designed to:
    • Agitate and scrub interior duct walls.
    • Dislodge dust, dander, mold spores, and other contaminants.
    • Simultaneously vacuum debris through a connected hose or push it toward the main vacuum collection point.

System Check & Reassembly

The HVAC system is tested for proper airflow and operation.

All vents are resealed.

Dryer Vent Cleaning Process Using Air-Care Equipment

A digital airflow meter may be used to confirm vent efficiency.

Inspection and Access

The dryer and the exterior vent outlet are inspected for lint buildup, moisture, or damage.

Access points are determined (usually from both the dryer side and the exterior).

Tool Insertion

Instead of blowing air from one end, a flexible rotary brush tool (Air-Care’s equipment) is inserted directly into the dryer duct.

The tool is fed through the entire length of the vent, dislodging lint and debris buildup on the inner walls.

Simultaneous Vacuum Collection

As the brush dislodges lint, it is either sucked up by a connected vacuum or collected near the access point and removed manually.

Multiple passes may be made to ensure complete removal of blockages.

Exterior Vent Cleaning

The vent hood is cleaned, and any flaps or screens are cleared of obstructions to ensure proper exhaust airflow.

Final Testing

Dryer is turned on to verify strong airflow at the exterior outlet.
